Keynote 3 also marked the rollout of BlockDAG’s Beta Testnet, a major upgrade over the alpha version. It brings faster transactions, an improved blockchain explorer, and tools for creating tokens and NFTs—all accessible for public testing.
To boost engagement, BlockDAG airdropped 10,000 testnet tokens to holders, distributed through a four-week vesting smart contract. A community competition was launched as well, with $60,000 in real BDAG tokens awarded to the top 30 wallets ranked by mining, activity, and token balance.
This isn’t just backend testing—it’s a full network rehearsal with real user incentives, showing how the platform will perform at scale when the mainnet goes live.
