22-year-old Wisconsin man sustains life-threatening injuries after flying off motorcycle into tree, suspected impairment

OAK GROVE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 22-year-old Wisconsin man was airlifted to an area hospital for life-threatening injuries after a serious motorcycle crash on Saturday afternoon.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the reported single motorcycle crash on County Highway A south of County Highway S in Oak Grove around 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Officials say that initial investigations showed a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle ridden by a 22-year-old Beaver Dam man wearing a helmet was going north at high speeds, losing control after passing by several others.

The motorcycle went through the east side shoulder and a ditch, going airborne after hitting a culvert. The man was ejected from the motorcycle and hit a tree as the motorcycle came to a halt next to a home.

The 22-year-old man was airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, and has also been arrested for suspected impairment.
