4 ejected from motor home after crashing on I-15 in southern Utah

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Four people were ejected after a motor home crashed on I-15 in southern Utah on Sunday.

According to Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue, one person was airlifted to the St. George Regional Hospital and the other three people were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

“Due to the severity of the incident and the number of patients, two LifeFlight helicopters were requested,” Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue said on social media.

The incident happened near mile marker 28 on northbound I-15 around 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Officials said the patients were stabilized at the scene before they were taken to the hospital. Additional details about the conditions of the people were not released by officials.

Responders from the Utah Highway Patrol, UDOT Incident Management Team, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.

There is no further information at this time.
