51nodes, IABG & World Mobile Launch Pilot to Tokenize Environmental Data Using Blockchain

Leading German blockchain technology integration company 51nodes is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Industrieanlagen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH (IABG) and World Mobile Chain (WMC) to introduce the “Tokenized Environmental Data for Marketplace Models” (EDT) pilot project. In order to improve security, automation, and market integration of data sets in the (aerial) mobility industry, the partnership will lead the way in novel techniques to tokenizing environmental and geographic data.

Revolutionizing Environmental Data Tokenization

Previous blockchain MVPs created by IABG and Secublox, a Munich-based business that specializes in blockchain-based drone command & control systems, are built upon by the EDT project. EDT wants to develop a tokenized framework for organizing, evaluating, and selling sensor and aerial vehicle data by using blockchain-powered automation.

To improve data integrity, EDT will use a hardware root-of-trust method to tokenize and validate environmental data. Public blockchain infrastructures will serve as the foundation for these very secure data sources, guaranteeing security and transparency for sectors like aerospace, transportation, and military.

Strategic Industry Collaboration

In order to provide the groundwork for next-generation markets for tokenized data, this project brings together the blockchain and tokenization expertise of 51nodes, the Layer-3 blockchain infrastructure of World Mobile Chain, and the geospatial and environmental services and solutions of IABG. In contrast to more traditional layer-2 blockchains or IT legacy systems, the project will investigate how layer-2 and layer-3 blockchains, namely World Mobile Chain and the underlying Base chain, can maximize data monetization, security, and automation.

“We are thrilled to partner with World Mobile Chain and IABG on this cutting-edge initiative,” said Jochen Kassberger, Co-Founder and Managing Director of 51nodes. “This project will redefine how environmental data is structured, tokenized, and commercialized through blockchain technology.”

Expanding the Market for Tokenized Data

Industries wishing to use blockchain technology for safe, automated data management will use EDT as a model. Potential uses include access control, measurement-based, automatic flight control systems for drones and other vehicles, as well as the coordination of fleets of aerial vehicles inside, for example, smart city boundaries.

For applications like these, World Mobile Chain’s infrastructure will be essential to guaranteeing such low-cost, high-throughput blockchain transactions.

Micky Watkins, Founder and CEO at World Mobile Group, stated, “As the first DePIN Layer-3 of the Base blockchain ecosystem, World Mobile Chain is uniquely positioned to scale tokenized real-world asset models. Our partnership with 51nodes and IABG will set new standards in blockchain-powered environmental data management.”

Creating Long-Term Collaborations

With long-term intentions to include academic institutions, smart city councils, and aerospace professionals, the EDT project serves as a catalyst for further industrial cooperation. The initiative intends to draw in future business partners and get more financing via strategic grant programs by showcasing World Mobile’s Chain’s potential.

With the help of important industry participants like eSA, Isar Aerospace, BMW, Siemens, Infineon, and other unsung heroes of the local industrial centers, the collaboration is also anticipated to fortify Munich’s blockchain ecosystem. Future partnerships with the Technical University Munich (TUM) and other research centers may also facilitate industry-wide adoption.

Based in Stuttgart, Germany, 51nodes is a well-known blockchain and AI integration business. With a focus on safe data management, AI-driven automation, and decentralized finance, the firm offers enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
