Clinton woman gets 16 life sentences for child sex crimes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Missouri woman has been given 16 life sentences for child sex crimes.
The Henry County prosecuting attorney announced that Kimberly Olivia Gray, 46, of Clinton, was sentenced to 16 life sentences for six counts of sexual trafficking of a child in the first degree, three counts of rape in the first degree, and seven counts of sodomy in the first degree.

The court further sentenced Gray to four years on an additional charge and ordered that all sentences run consecutive to each other.
A Henry County jury found Gray guilty of all charges in April.
The testimony and evidence at the trial revealed that an investigation was initiated after finding age-sensitive material online, which was linked to the internet used at a home in Clinton. Investigators searched Gray’s home on multiple occasions – and also seized Gray’s devices, as well as her boyfriend’s.
Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) investigators found multiple files containing what appeared to be photographs and videos of graphic child sexual abuse material, commonly referred to as “child pornography.”
She denied her involvement, which led the MSHP to enlist the assistance of the FBI. A forensic examiner with the FBI, who testified at trial, identified Gray’s hands in the footage.
Gray’s boyfriend and co-defendant, Derek Brett Roberts, testified at Gray’s trial. He indicated that she had engaged in the alleged activities with him and that she had not been coerced or threatened to do so.
Roberts is currently serving 23 life sentences for his involvement.
Missouri law requires a certain number of years be served before eligibility for parole on each
life sentence. In total, Gray must serve 450 years before she is eligible for parole.
