Indian Microsoft Engineer Found Dead in Silicon Valley Office, Family & Colleagues Mourn

Pratik Pandey, 35, was a software engineer with over a decade of professional experience. Born and educated in India, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, before moving to the United States for higher studies, completing a Master’s at San Jose State University.

He started working with Newgen Technologies in 2012 and then worked at John Deere in Pune. He also worked for Apple, Illumina, Cinequest, Hoverboard Technologies, and Walmart Labs for several years. In 2020, he worked for Microsoft, developing Fabric and Synapse products, with expertise in scalable , micro frontend architecture, and cloud-based systems.
