And then there’s the issue of who gets access to such technology—medical only, law enforcement, and private companies?
Additionally, acceptance or opposition by society will be instrumental. General opinion, influenced by the media and used in everyday life, will decide whether AI mind reading is viewed as a helpful tool or an Orwellian horror.
