Rae Corrado said she discovered a woman in her mother’s hospital bed at UPMC Mercy Rehab on Friday. She said the unidentified woman was wearing a wristband labeled with Corrado’s mother’s name, Gloria. Rae said she had been waiting for hours for her mother to be transferred to Mercy from UPMC Presbyterian when she got word she was there. Rae said the woman appeared confused, leaving her frantic with fear about her mother’s whereabouts.
