Cathie Wood’s ARK Invest has invested $175 million in Ethereum treasury firm Bitmine Immersion Technologies while trimming stakes in Coinbase and Roblox.
The investment in Bitmine, an Ethereum treasury company backed by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund and FundStrat’s Tom Lee, was spread across three of ARK’s flagship ETFs: ARKK, ARKW, and ARKF.
In total, the firm picked up 4.4 million shares, with the move coinciding with a 23% surge in ETH’s price over the past month.
Following the altcoin leader’s strong performance, Eric Trump took a victory lap on X after telling his followers to buy ETH at the beginning of February.

Meanwhile, ARK continued its steady reduction in Coinbase holdings, offloading 174,746 shares from ARKK, 27,663 from ARKW, and 16,577 from ARKF, according to a disclosure posted on X yesterday.
The sale follows a string of weekly COIN offloads since July 1, including a 43,762-share reduction just as Coinbase stock hit a new all-time high on July 18.
