India’s Semiconductor Chip, Sylvi Funding & More
India is poised to launch its first homegrown semiconductor chip, ranging from 28 to 90 nanometers, by the end of 2025, as announced by Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. This initiative, part of the ‘Make in India’ campaign, targets sectors like automotive, telecom, power, and railways. With six manufacturing units under construction since 2022, this development marks a significant step towards India’s technological self-reliance and manufacturing growth.
