Damage Seen to Buildings, Playground After Deadly Russian Strike on Zelensky’s Hometown

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said several children were among those killed in a Russian strike on his hometown of Kryvyi Rih on Friday, April 4.

“The rocket actually hit the territory next to residential buildings: a playground, ordinary streets. These are just inhumane, scum – anyone who can do this,” Zelensky said.

Footage and images published by Suspilne News show damage to buildings and a playground in Kryvyi Rih. Suspilne later gave a figure of 18 dead, including nine children.
