Cardi B has shared an update that is unexpected, to say the least. The rapper took to X, revealing that she has a new piercing—and it’s in a rather surprising place.
“Soooo …….i got my butt crack pierced,” she wrote with a cheeky emoji. Her post was met with some skepticism in the comments section. “That’s possible?” one user questioned.
However, Cardi backed up her original post with some proof. Replying to a post that read, “photo or it didn’t happen,” she wrote “Do I lie?” alongside a photo of the piercing itself.

Cardi’s update about her latest, unexpected piercing comes after she shared some other details about a different procedure in the same general area. “In January right after I shot ‘Like What,’ I went and got surgery,” Cardi said during an Instagram Live, per E! News. “I got some more butt injections removed, because you know it takes rounds to get your butt injections removed, and I also went to fix certain things with my fibrosis.”

In addition to her piercings and procedures, Cardi has had an eventful year. In December 2023, she confirmed that she and her partner, Offset, were splitting. “I been single for a minute now,” she said on an Instagram live at the time. Cardi then welcomed her third child with Offset the following year in September. As she explained on X during her pregnancy, she did experience some complications. “I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic,” she wrote. “This baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale, eyes sunken, veins green ASF, can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy ….PLEAE [sic] STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR ASSHOLE!”
