Resort, casino along Nevada-California border shifting 24/7 operations to different property
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Buffalo Bill’s Resort and Casino, located in Primm along the Nevada-California border, is shifting its 24/7 operations to Primm Valley Resort and Casino, the company announced Tuesday.
The shift is in an effort “to deliver the best possible experience for today’s guest expectations,” Primm Valley Casino Resorts said in a statement.
While its 24/7 operations are shifting, Buffalo Bill’s is set to continue to host concerts and special events, and its fall show lineup at the Star of the Desert Arena will be announced soon.

In order to deliver the best possible experience for today’s guest expectations, Buffalo Bill’s will be shifting its 24/7 operations to Primm Valley Resort & Casino. We invite our guests to join us at Primm Valley, where they will find the newest slots on our redesigned casino floor, beautifully appointed rooms, oasis pool experience, and wonderful dining! Buffalo Bill’s will continue to be home for exciting concerts and special events. We will be announcing an incredible fall show lineup at the Star Desert Arena soon. We thank our guests for their ongoing support and look forward to serving them for years to come.

On December 18, 2024, Whiskey Pete’s, also located in Primm, closed its doors, and in March was approved for a two-year closure on that date, ending on December 18, 2026.
