Columbus-area suburbs among top 10 places to live in central Ohio. Did yours make the list?
Niche has released its list of top places to live in the Columbus area in 2025, one of which is No. 8 in Ohio’s list.
The nationwide ranking and review site calculated the rankings based on factors that include school quality, crime, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities. Upper Arlington has an A+ overall Niche grade, with top ranks in the categories for public schools and families.
“Upper Arlington’s continued investments in parks, infrastructure, and community spaces — such as the new Bob Crane Community Center — along with active civic engagement and a commitment to high-quality city services, are part of what keeps the community thriving,” the city said in a news release.
According Niche, Upper Arlington is also the 8th best place to live in Ohio, behind suburbs of Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dayton and Toledo.
