Dogecoin Sets Up Mysterious X Flashmob — What’s Happening?

The official account of the Dogecoin team, @dogecoin, has joined in on a cryptic flashmob initiated by a major DOGE-themed X account — @dogeofficialceo, who calls himself “Protector of Dogecoin.”
Dogecoin flashmob as price rebounds 3.66%
This “roll call” was started with @dogeofficialceo posting a “saluting face” emoji, @dogecoin responding likewise and then numerous DOGE fan accounts joining them with the same emoji in the comments.
Some wondered what this was about, perhaps a DOGE ETF launch. Some began shooting slogans, such as “send DOGE to the moon.”
Meanwhile, the price of Dogecoin has displayed a 3.66% increase over the past 24 hours as it recovered from a 5.47% drop faced a day before. On Thursday and Friday, DOGE moved in a range, testing the support levels at $0.1581 and $0.1571. Finally it managed to rebound higher. At the time of this writing, DOGE is changing hands at $0.1625.

DOGE fan Elon Musk turns 54 — 69 days after 4/20
Today, the most influential Dogecoin fan, Elon Musk, celebrates his 54th birthday. X and Dogecoin insider @cb_doge published a tweet with a Tesla Optimus android holding a cake with birthday candles in it, and a short inscription, saying: “69 days after 4/20.”
The date 4/20 stands for April 20, which began as a marijuana day and then became an unofficial Dogecoin day. It is also the day when the Bitcoin halving took place in 2024. Musk has several times jestingly stated that he was born 69 days after 4/20, which was one of his, again, joking, arguments for humanity living in a simulation.
