Drake’s Gothic Rolls-Royce Cullinan Redefines Dark Luxury

  • One-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce Cullinan is customised through a unique partnership with Chrome Hearts.
  • Custom features include gothic crosses replacing Spirit of Ecstasy and bespoke leather interior.
  • Part of Drake’s impressive collection that includes Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir and Lamborghini Aventador.

Luxury and hip-hop go hand in hand. It’s almost a rite of passage—custom timepieces, diamond-covered chains, and, of course, cars that make a statement. Only a few embody this culture of excess better than Drake, who, after the year he’s had, could do with treating himself to a custom car delivery.

Drake’s one of the highest-selling artists of all time and never misses an opportunity to flaunt his success with a series of high-profile sports bets, Richard Mille watches and a car collection that could rival the billionaire Sultan of Brunei.

From a Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir to a Lamborghini Aventador and even a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, his garage is filled with luxurious automotive machines. But one car in his collection — the gothic-themed Rolls-Royce Cullinan — is on a completely different level. This isn’t just another tricked-out luxury SUV. It’s a one-of-a-kind customised piece of art, a symbol of craftsmanship, and, of course, Drake’s impeccable taste.

A Partnership Born of Vision

Drake’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan isn’t something you’d find parked outside a high-end dealership. It’s the result of a detailed collaboration that happened in 2021 with Chrome Hearts — the luxury fashion brand known for gothic aesthetics and rockstar rebellion.

Laurie Lynn Stark, who is the co-owner of Chrome Hearts, revealed that the goal wasn’t just to create another high-end custom car but to build something timeless, a piece that felt more like an heirloom than just a luxury ride. And they did exactly that with a Rolls-Royce that is unlike any other.

A Gothic Masterpiece on Wheels

Every part of this Cullinan has Chrome Hearts’ signature aesthetic but the most eye-catching details are definitely the custom lower front grille and the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament that has been replaced with gothic crosses, giving the Rolls-Royce an unmistakably dark, yet regal, presence. Custom wheels have the Chrome Hearts logo, along with their iconic “F**k You” engraving along the curve, which gives a cheeky nod to the brand’s punk-luxe identity.

Inside, it only gets better. Nearly every surface is wrapped in custom black leather and embroidered with intricate quilted patterns and Gothic crosses. Fleur-de-lis motifs are also stitched into the seats, while the dashboard and door panels have been entirely recreated in Chrome Hearts’ signature style. Even with the extensive modifications, the SUV remains street-legal because every design choice has been meticulously executed to ensure compliance with airbag deployment and safety regulations.

Unveiling a car like this isn’t as simple as pulling up to a club or flexing on social media. For this reason, it was revealed at Miami’s Institute of Contemporary Art, where it was treated less like a vehicle and more like a travelling exhibit. The placement was fitting, considering the car blurs the line between high fashion, automotive design, and contemporary art.

Drake’s love for ultra-luxury customisation doesn’t stop at cars. His extravagant lifestyle extends to private jets — he owns a custom Boeing 767 dubbed “Air Drake” as well as an enviable collection of watches, including a Patek Philippe Nautilus 5726/1A, an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, and the Jacob & Co. Astronomia Casino.
