Exclusive First Look At Lamborghini’s New Temerario In Australia

- Twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 hybrid powertrain gives 907 horsepower with 590 lb-ft of torque.
- Revolutionary aerodynamics deliver 158% increased downforce with the optional Alleggerita Package.
- First-ever Lamborghini supercar with all-electric driving capability and 30-minute battery recharge.
For years, Lamborghini has been bringing excellence to the table, and the upcoming Temerario is just another example of the boundary-pushing innovation that the Italian manufacturer stands for. The latest supercar will leave competitors scrambling to catch up because this isn’t just any new Lamborghini; it is the evolution of the raging bull that is now electrified and angrier than ever.
Whilst the all-new Temerario was revealed at Monterey Car Week 2024, Australian revheads hadn’t had the chance to see it first-hand. DMARGE was among the first in the country to get up close and personal with Lamborghini’s latest hybrid creation. And we have to say, this Italian supercar is an absolute monster.
Design That Commands Attention
The Temerario follows Lamborghini’s signature design language but with a futuristic twist. The shark-nose front end is sharper, the sculpted side panels are more pronounced, and the aerodynamic roofline is sleeker than ever.
Hexagonal motifs can be seen throughout the vehicle, appearing in everything from the headlights and DRLs to the exhaust pipes and the technical rear diffuser. And these features are not just for aesthetics either, they are for better performance as well.

Airflow has also been optimised like never before through carefully engineered channels that help reduce turbulence, underbody vortex generators that improve stability, and multiple rear wing configurations that create the perfect balance of drag and downforce.

The Alleggerita Package takes performance up a notch by adding lightweight carbon fibre components, including a more aggressive front splitter, forged wheels, and a titanium exhaust system that’s as loud as it is light.
Further features of this supercar include 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels that are wrapped in bespoke Bridgestone Potenza tyres developed specifically for this model’s unique performance requirements. This tailored design ensures maximum grip in all driving conditions and also maintains the razor-sharp handling that Lamborghini drivers expect.
Hybrid Power Unleashed
Under the hood, or in Lamborghini’s case, behind the cockpit, there’s a game-changing powertrain – a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that is paired with three electric motors to deliver 907 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Two motors drive the front axle for instant torque and AWD capability, while a third sits between the engine and transmission to improve response and efficiency.

This gives the supercar a monstrous performance, allowing it to rocket from 0-62 mph in just 2.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 213 mph. But what truly sets it apart is its 3.8-kWh lithium-ion battery, which enables full-electric driving for short distances. The onboard 7-kW charger recharges the battery in just 30 minutes if you plug it into a standard household outlet, which has made the Temerario the first Lamborghini supercar with a viable electric mode.
Then there’s the exhaust system, which can easily be called a masterpiece of engineering. The flat-plane crank V8 screams all the way to a 10,000 rpm redline in performance modes but can whisper through the streets when needed, proving that hybridisation hasn’t tamed Lamborghini’s signature sound—it has only refined it.
The supercar has five driving modes that drivers can choose from, and they cater to every scenario. Città mode optimises the car for urban driving and prioritises electric power. Strada delivers a balanced everyday drive. Sport dials up the throttle response, stiffens the suspension opens exhaust valves for a more visceral experience. Corsa shows Temerario’s track-ready fury and decreases electronic intervention. And for those who crave a wilder experience, Corsa Plus unlocks precision-calibrated torque vectoring for controlled drifts.
Aviation-Inspired Luxury Within
Inside, the Temerario’s cockpit is easily recognisable as being aviation-inspired and has three high-resolution displays — a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch central touchscreen for infotainment, and a passenger-side display for real-time performance monitoring or just adjusting comfort settings.

The materials used throughout the cabin, including carbon fibre, hand-stitched leather, and precision-made aluminum, all represent pure Lamborghini luxury. And unlike some supercars, the Temerario doesn’t compromise on comfort for performance—interior space is more generous than in the Huracán with extra headroom and legroom, which ensures a comfortable fit for drivers of all sizes.
Lamborghini has made sure that each Temerario is unique by offering customisation options that are nearly limitless. Owners are offered over 400 exterior colour options, including striking new shades like Blu Marinus and Verde Mercurius, and nearly every interior surface can be tailored according to the owner’s desire, giving each model a unique style.
Pricing for the car has not been officially confirmed, but experts believe the starting point is around $614,000 in Australia. Many are excited to get their hands on the Temerario with first deliveries being set for India on April 30, 2025, followed by Australia in early 2026.
Regardless, it can be said that the Lamborghini Temerario isn’t just another hybrid supercar but is proof that performance and electrification can exist together without compromise. And, above all, it is proof that no matter how technology evolves, the raging bull remains the same.
