Expect Sleek Design, But Battery Might Take a Hit

Since the announcement of the Galaxy S25 FE, leaks suggest that this model may have some disappointing features compared to last year’s version. Information from reliable sources indicates that the will have a sleek 7.4 mm aluminum body and weigh approximately 190 g. It represents a significant reduction from the Galaxy S24 FE, which weighed 213 g and had a body thickness of 8 mm.

Reportedly, the expected design goes hand-in-hand with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, thin bezels, and updated Gorilla Glass Victus to provide a more refined and comfortable experience. On the surface, the choice allows Samsung to give hard competition to , set to debut with a 5.5 mm slim design.  However, the backlash has started with battery capacity. 

Users prioritize battery performance in smartphones above all else. Recent leaks suggest that Samsung may reduce the battery size to just 4,500 mAh, which is a decrease of 200 mAh compared to its predecessor. The reduction is expected to have a significant impact on the phone’s overall performance. However, charging speeds are projected to remain competitive at around 45W, aligning with higher-end Galaxy models.
