Hardy Brothers Have Exactly What Your Watch Collection Has Been Waiting For

The following article was produced in partnership with Hardy Brothers.

WOLF Continues Its Storied Horological Legacy

In 2024, WOLF, the five-generation family business synonymous with handcrafted watch winders and jewellery boxes, celebrated its 190th anniversary. Of course, with a history dating back to 1834, this British mainstay is one of the most respected names in the world of watch winders, putting precision and accuracy at the heart of all they do.

Let’s face it: watch collecting isn’t a modest hobby. We invest time and money into accumulating the perfect timepieces that speak to us. It’s only right that we take appropriate care of them.

Unlike generic winders, WOLF is the only brand to count every single turn of the rotor, rather than relying on timed intervals. That means your automatic watch gets exactly the amount of movement it needs, no more, no less. It’s certainly put WOLF amongst esteemed horological company.

WOLF Earth Collection

Inspired by WOLF’s deep-rooted commitment to the planet and his grandfather Philipp Wolf III’s sense of responsibility to craftsmanship and the natural world, the Earth collection is the fifth and final chapter in WOLF’s 190th Anniversary Series, and perhaps its most meaningful.

With the release of the limited edition collection, the British brand looked forward to a future shaped by sustainability, innovation, and the personal vision of CEO Simon Wolf. It’s both a tribute and a transformation of the brand, focussed on innovating for future generations.

Each piece, whether a triple watch winder, single roll, or five-piece box, is crafted from apple leather and lined with recycled jacquard satin.

The nature-inspired colourways and matte metallic hardware bring an elegant, traditional aesthetic, while tech-forward features like Bluetooth connectivity, WOLF’s patented Turns Per Day program, Return to Start, and the Lock-In Dynamic Cuff keep function firmly in focus for the modern consumer, perfect for keeping an heirloom (or secret) safe on the move.

DOXA’s New Diver Finally Comes Up for Air

For a brand so deeply rooted in the world’s oceans, it’s taken DOXA a surprisingly long time to look up and outwards. The SUB 250T GMT marks a return to travel-ready watchmaking for the storied dive brand, sized at a crisp 40mm. The SUB 250T GMT is slim, clean and impressively practical; not just for a diver, but for a GMT watch of any kind.

That’s no small feat. Its tonneau case, familiar to DOXA fans, has been refined here to wear easily day to day, while still offering a serious 250 metres of water resistance, reminding us very quickly that this is still a practical instrument, not just a dress watch in disguise.

The new DOXA comes in a range of dial options. Image: DOXA

On the dial (or rather, the dial options), DOXA could’ve dropped this GMT in just orange and called it a day. But instead, they’ve delivered a full spectrum of colours. There’s also the new gradient vintage dial: their first fumé finish ever.

Inside, it runs on the Sellita SW330-2, which brings 50 hours of power and quick-set GMT functionality, helping the watch feel as effortless in a terminal as it is underwater. On the surface, the execution is pure DOXA: bright, legible, a little retro. What you get is a watch that looks like it could’ve existed in DOXA’s back catalogue forever, but wears like something built for right now. It’s a solid selection for travellers who dive, or divers who travel. Or anyone who just wants a colourful, chic sports watch that won’t get lost in a sea of Submariner clones.
