ICP & XRP Tests Key Support Levels While BlockDAG Drops Mainnet Details—15K TPS & Full DeFi Capabilities!
BlockDAG’s recent Keynote 3 presentation provided an exciting look at what’s coming with the 2025 mainnet launch. The network will kick off with 2,000 transactions per second (TPS) and holds the potential to scale up to 15,000 TPS, meaning it can handle major traffic without compromising performance.
From the very beginning, the network will feature full DeFi capabilities, including staking, bridging, lending, and swaps, giving users all the tools they need to dive into decentralized finance.
Security is a major focus for BlockDAG, and the successful audits from renowned security firms Certik and prove that. The network will also implement multi-party computation (MPC) to ensure funds stay safe.
On top of that, governance tools will empower the community to propose and vote on changes, giving users a direct role in shaping the network’s future. As CEO Antony Turner put it, “We’re orchestrating every element—from our underlying blockchain to supporting tools like our explorer, indexers, and oracles—to work seamlessly as one trustless, decentralized network.”
