India Blockchain Tour Brings Web3 Momentum to Ahmedabad, Draws Record Crowds and Builders

Ahmedabad, July 27, 2025 – The India Blockchain Tour (IBT), a nationwide Web3 conference series by Octaloop, made a powerful debut in Ahmedabad this weekend, hosting hundreds of attendees and leading names in blockchain, AI, and fintech at Courtyard by Marriott.

The event marked another milestone in India’s rapidly growing Web3 movement, serving as a convergence point for founders, developers, policy advocates, and crypto traders from Gujarat and beyond. With exhibitor booths brimming, standing-room panels, and buzzing networking sessions, IBT Ahmedabad signaled the increasing hunger for blockchain innovation in Tier 2 cities.

While India continues to position itself as a global Web3 powerhouse, events like IBT are playing a critical role in ensuring that innovation doesn’t remain confined to metros. The Ahmedabad edition focused heavily on emerging narratives such as AI x Web3, tokenization, decentralized finance, and public policy around crypto.

“Ahmedabad exceeded all expectations – booths were packed, questions never stopped, and the passion for crypto was contagious. We loved connecting with the local trading community and look forward to doing more here,”
Vikas Gupta, Country Manager – India, Bybit

“It was heartening to see so many sharp minds and genuine curiosity in the room. India’s Web3 energy is real, and Ahmedabad showed us why it cannot be ignored,”
Muskan Agrawal, South Asia Events Lead, MEXC Ventures

“The turnout was incredible. From curious Web3 CXO leadership to ambitious youth investing in their future, Bitget had meaningful conversations with everyone. Gujarat is definitely ready for Web3,”
Jyotsna Hirdyani, Growth, Bitget

The one-day event also hosted workshops and surveys to understand public sentiment toward India’s evolving crypto regulation. These grassroots insights are being compiled by Octaloop across all IBT cities to help inform the government’s decision-making process later this year.

“India is not just a user base – it’s a builder base. At IBT, we’re not just organizing events; we’re listening, documenting, and amplifying the voice of the people. Our mission is to help the government shape a regulatory framework that reflects the aspirations of India’s Web3 community,”
Anupam Varshney, Founder, Octaloop

Themes that dominated the day included the need for more developer talent, expanding financial access through DeFi, and the value of community-led initiatives in driving mass adoption. The event ended with a high-energy mixer at Aura Lounge, where conversations continued among speakers, investors, and builders late into the night.

With six more cities and the flagship Metamorphosis event ahead, IBT is fast becoming the heartbeat of India’s Web3 community – and Ahmedabad just added its voice to the movement.
