It be dudes who probably got wives and kids

In today’s age, conventional means of earning money no longer define success. For instance, social media influencers often out-earn professionals like doctors and engineers, and even professional athletes are no longer at the top of the pay scale. Moreover, the trend seems even more concerning because OnlyFans models have become some of the highest-earning individuals in the world. This point was highlighted when Sophie Rain recently admitted that she’s earned more than $82 million since joining the platform. Her revelation drew a sharp reaction from Michael Porter Jr., who expressed his deep confusion at how some men stoop to the level of hiding their kinks and spending millions on such content behind their families’ backs.

Michael Porter Jr. disapproves of men who make OnlyFans models successful

Given that Rain is one of the most prominent personalities on the OnlyFans platform, it comes as no surprise that she earns plenty through subscriptions and content sales. However, everyone on social media was left stunned when they were made aware that Rain made just five million less than LeBron James in 2024.

When Porter Jr. was asked to weigh in on his thoughts on the same, he unapologetically mentioned how society is moving into a troubling direction. Though he admitted to not holding judgments about how one makes a living or pays their bills, he reprimanded men who make these models successful by spending their wealth on them without their loved ones knowing, only to fulfill their desires.

Put simply, to the 2024 NBA Champion, this only reflects misplaced priorities for such men and signals a decline in values such as education, which once paved the way for success for almost everyone.

“To me it’s kind of lame that dudes is giving her $50 (million) bro. And it be dudes who probably got wives and kids and they are over there in their little room being weird. To me, that’s wild,” Porter Jr. said while being on a stream with PlaqueBoy Max. “The thing about that, bro, is these girls on OnlyFans, they’re not even the ones typing, going back and forth with these dudes. They’re probably talking to some dude in the Philippines who’s running her account. So like, y’all wasting y’all’s bread doing that.”

Michael Porter Jr.’s concern does hold true

For professional athletes, the comparison feels especially jarring. Considering how NBA players commit their bodies to grueling routines, maintain strict discipline, and train every single day to justify their multi-million-dollar salaries. In contrast, OnlyFans models can make double those figures within hours, even on their slowest days. This stark disparity underscores the shocking shift in financial reward structures, especially in the digital space.

Perhaps this was why Porter Jr. felt compelled to call out men who enable and fund such platforms, as they are virtually killing the desire of the younger generation to educate themselves, work hard and stay disciplined in order to be successful in life.
