Little Rock police investigating deadly Sunday afternoon shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Little Rock Police Department are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting that left a man dead.

According to a post on social media, officials with the LRPD responded to a disturbance call around 1:41 p.m. at a home in the 10000 block of Sibley Hole Road.

Officers said when they arrived, they found a man’s body dead from an apparent gunshot injury. Police said that they secured the area and notified homicide detectives who began an investigation.

Police said that 21-year-old Tony Smith Jr. is wanted for a charge of capital murder. Officials did not identify the man that died.
