Michael Saylor Led Strategy Nears Historic 600K BTC Mark

With their next Bitcoin purchase, Michael Saylor and Strategy (previously MicroStrategy) have the opportunity to create history, pushing their holdings beyond the 600,000 BTC threshold. As corporate adoption reaches unprecedented levels, Saylor has flashed the red light for an upcoming acquisition.
Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, has hinted that he plans to pad the company’s balance sheet with more Bitcoins. The telltale indication of a recent acquisition announcement was disclosed by Saylor in an X post—the MicroStrategy portfolio tracker.

Strategy has 597,325 BTC, which, at the current price of $64.57 billion, is seen on the chart. Last week, Strategy spent $531 million for 4,980 BTC, marking its twelth straight purchase of Bitcoin.
After a little hiatus, Strategy resumed its weekly Bitcoin purchasing streak last week. Matching the record it had established between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. Making a buy this week will extend the current Bitcoin acquisition streak to thirteen weeks and increase the likelihood that holdings will hit 600,000 BTC. While BlackRock’s IBIT ETF has already topped 600,000 BTC, Michael Saylor’s Strategy is only 2,675 BTC away.
There is concern that Strategy would back out of the transaction, even though the portfolio tracker has been posted. Michael Saylor’s caption, which suggests maintaining its existing market position, is the fulcrum around which the ideas of the pundits rest.
Bitcoin treasury businesses are frantically expanding their exposure to the leading cryptocurrency. Under the leadership of Michael Saylor’s Strategy and Figma, eighteen firms increased their Bitcoin holdings by 8,400 BTC last week.
In addition to acquisitions, an increasing number of businesses have revealed bold intentions to shift focus to the leading cryptocurrency. The main cryptocurrency has seen an avalanche of firms jumping on board, which has set the stage for speculation to reach new heights.
