Northern California elementary school experiences gun scare on campus
(FOX40.COM) — Law enforcement in Northern California was called to investigate a gun incident at an elementary school campus on Friday morning.

According to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, a school resource officer was the first responder in the incident. A student was found to have brought a plastic airsoft gun on campus. It is unclear which school was involved, but deputies said the incident happened in Placerville.
“School Resource Officers investigated the incident and based on the investigation, it was determined that there is no threat to students or the community,” ECSO said.
