Officers injured in North Codorus Township incident
Emergency responders are on the scene of a police incident in North Codorus Township, according to Ted Czech, public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management/York County 911.
York County radio dispatches indicate officers have been injured in the incident. A YDR reporter witnessed an officer being loaded into a helicopter.
The first call came in to York County 911 around 2:10 p.m.
Numerous police and EMS units are on the scene. A landing zone has been set up for a helicopter.
It remains an active scene, Czech said.
Meanwhile, Spring Grove Area School District are sheltering students in the buildings because of the officer-involved incident that is unrelated to the students or schools, according to a statement from the district. There will be delays with transporting students.
Northern York County Regional Police Department covers North Codorus Township.
Pennsylvania State Police are not releasing any information at this time, Trooper James Grothey said.
