The students are Eric Bailey, studying engineering technology from Columbus; Emma Dawson, studying early childhood education from Delaware; Todd Lee, studying social work from Delaware; and Tyshondra Russell, studying social work from Marysville, according to a community announcement.
Ohio State Marion students Emma Dawson, Eric Bailey, Tyshondra Russell and Todd Lee will represent the local campus at the university’s 113th annual Homecoming Celebration Oct. 3-4.
They were chosen based on their applications, interview scores, campus involvement and GPA.
The homecoming festivities will take place Oct. 3-4 at the Columbus campus. The students will participate in the Regional Campus Homecoming Coronation Ceremony at Longaberger Alumni House, the annual homecoming parade and the homecoming football game between Ohio State and Minnesota.
The parade will step off at 6 p.m. Oct. 3 in the West Stadium parking lot and end at the Ohio Union. This year’s parade grand marshal is Brutus Buckeye, who is celebrating their 60th birthday in 2025.
Homecoming courts from all Ohio State campuses will also be honored on Oct. 4 during the football game.
The homecoming court members are chosen based on their ability to exemplify the qualities of leadership, spirit, integrity and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State Marion.
