President Donald Trump arrived in Scotland on Friday for a four-day trip. Apparently, a round of golf was on his itinerary.

Unsurprisingly, the 47th president of the United States is staying at Trump Turnberry in South Ayrshire. According to BBC, he teed off with his son Eric at around 10 a.m. Saturday. He was spotted on the course wearing a white “USA” hat.

It didn’t take long for Trump to turn heads on the course. On Saturday morning, a video of him sinking an impressive put went viral on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

While plenty of people complimented Trump’s putting skills, others criticized him for refusing to pick up his own ball. He just walked off the green and got ready for the next hole.

“Is he too good…to pick up his own ball,” one person asked.

“Doesn’t even get his own ball,” a second person wrote on X.

“Arrogant dude just walks away. Go pickup your ball,” a social media user commented.

“Go get your ball Trump,” another social media user wrote. “Why are you so lazy?”

“Having someone else pick up his ball. Bad golf etiquette,” a fifth person said.

Trump’s love for golf is no secret. Although he claims he has never had an official instructor, he has carved out a respectable skillset.

“I think of golf as a very natural game,” Trump said, via Golf Digest. “I never really wanted to know a lot about my technique. I really trust instinct a lot, in golf and a lot of things.”

If we had to guess, it won’t be long before Trump is back on the golf course.
