SB I-65 closed south of Kennedy Bridge due to repairs
Southbound lanes of Interstate 65 in Louisville is closed just south of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge due to “freeway maintenance” Thursday morning, according to TRIMARC.
Traffic is being diverted onto to the exit ramp at Jefferson and Brook streets.
TRIMARC’S map shows Traffic has slowed on the bridge, at the interchange with Interstate 64 and on southbound I-65 near downtown Louisville. TRIMARC estimated the lane closures would remain until around noon.
Repair work on the highway is being done by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, according to TRIMARC. The Courier Journal has reached out to KYTC for comment.
