The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has issued a Sunshine Act Notice announcing a closed meeting for Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will take place remotely and at the SEC headquarters in Washington, D.C.
The meeting will be closed to the public, with the SEC set to discuss various enforcement actions and administrative proceedings. These include the institution and settlement of injunctive actions, administrative proceedings, resolution of litigation claims, and other matters related to enforcement and regulatory proceedings.

Legal Framework for the Meeting
The closure of this meeting is based on exemptions provided by the Government in the Sunshine Act (5 U.S.C. § 552b), which allows federal agencies to conduct closed sessions for sensitive matters. While the meeting itself is private, the Sunshine Act requires the SEC to provide advance public notice of such meetings.
