Crypto.com has kicked off a major new campaign centered around Shiba Inu (SHIB), offering a $250,000 reward pool for participants who stake CRO tokens on its platform.
The announcement was made via social media and highlighted in a thread by TheCryptoBasic. The reward program runs from July 5 to August 4, 2025, and aims to drive engagement within the platform’s Airdrop Arena section, where users can earn rewards by locking up CRO, the exchange’s native token.
How the $250K SHIB Reward Pool Works
To take part in the new event, users must stake CRO in the Airdrop Arena. Rewards in SHIB will be distributed based on points – the more CRO a user allocates, the higher their ranking and the greater their share of the prize pool.
Crypto.com is offering a 120% points boost for early adopters. The first 10,000 users to participate will automatically get this bonus. Additionally, anyone who locks up 1,500 CRO or more will receive the same 120% daily boost during the event.
At the end of the one-month campaign, users who selected the Loot Locker option will receive their share of the $250,000 SHIB prize seven days after the program ends.

This initiative continues Crypto.com’s support of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. The exchange listed SHIB back in May 2021, and later added Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) in March 2023. Crypto.com has also been transparent in holding a notable SHIB reserve, showcasing its alignment with the broader Shiba Inu project.
CEO Kris Marszalek previously acknowledged the strong backing from the Shiba Army, particularly during the BONE listing. The ongoing reward program further strengthens that relationship, while giving SHIB holders and CRO stakers new incentives to participate.

While the SHIB price has seen some recent turbulence, project leaders remain optimistic. Marketing lead Luice reassured the community that Shiba Inu is built on solid foundations, noting it’s not dependent on a small group of holders.
Meanwhile, Shiba Inu lead Shytoshi Kusama has teased major developments ahead. He recently hinted that “July is JUL-AI,” suggesting that the next wave of growth could involve artificial intelligence.
This aligns with earlier reports that Kusama has been developing AI-related tools for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, potentially in partnership with TokenPlayAI, a gaming platform integrating AI technology. A whitepaper related to this initiative is expected to be released later this month.
