Stellar Targets $3 Billion in RWAs by End of 2025: Details – CryptoMode
The Stellar Development Foundation has unveiled a major goal: bringing $3 billion worth of real-world assets on-chain by the end of 2025. This represents a more than 10x leap from the $290 million held on Stellar at the close of 2024, and places the blockchain firmly in the growing RWA race.
The announcement coincides with a new wave of institutional partnerships, including Paxos, Ondo, Etherfuse, and SG Forge—the innovation arm of French banking giant Société Generale.
The move builds upon Stellar’s earlier RWA collaborations with Franklin Templeton and WisdomTree, as the network expands its footprint in tokenized finance. SDF VP Lauren Thorbjornsen confirmed that the foundation is already seeing rapid momentum in Q1 2025, with on-chain asset growth tracking ahead of expectations.
Stellar’s Climb in the RWA Leaderboard
According to the latest data from RWA.xyz, Stellar currently hosts $475.76 million in real-world assets, ranking it third among all chains by total value, just behind Ethereum and ZKsync Era.
That position gives Stellar a 4.48% share of the on-chain RWA market, which now exceeds $21.14 billion globally. While Ethereum continues to dominate with nearly $6 billion in tokenized assets, the project’s growth has been steady, notching a 3.54% increase over the past 30 days.
Its climb in the league comes alongside broader ecosystem adoption. The network currently supports nine distinct RWA projects and has established itself as a leading chain for asset tokenization use cases, thanks to its low fees, fast settlement, and institutional-grade compliance frameworks.
Price Action and Market Outlook
Despite a challenging macro environment, Stellar’s native token XLM is showing signs of stabilization. After trending down for most of Q1 2025, XLM is up 3.7% on the day to $0.2418. While this is still well below the three-month high of nearly $0.55, the recent uptick reflects broader sentiment tied to the adoption of real-world assets.
The market cap sits just under $7.45 billion, with a fully diluted valuation exceeding $12 billion. Trading volume over the past 24 hours stands at $130 million, indicating renewed investor interest as the RWA narrative gains momentum.

The project’s stated goal of powering $110 billion in RWA volume by year-end marks one of the most aggressive ambitions in the space.
