BlockDAG’s put its security strategy front and center. Chief Security Officer Dr. Youssef Khaoulaj detailed how the platform is built from the ground up to resist attacks, avoid downtime, and protect user assets. “Security isn’t an added layer at BlockDAG—it’s our foundation,” he said during the presentation.
A key component is the GhostDAG protocol, which changes how consensus is achieved. Rather than rejecting forks, it processes them in parallel, which cuts energy waste and improves throughput. This approach, combined with other layered defenses, is designed to handle scale without compromising integrity.
The project also uses Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to secure treasury operations. This ensures that no transaction can go through without approvals from multiple independent parties. On top of that, audits by and have already been conducted, with a full network audit planned before mainnet launch. These steps weren’t presented as extras—they’re embedded in BlockDAG’s entire development plan.
