World of Women Returns with ‘WoW Gala Lisboa: Feathers, Fizz & Freedom’ at NFC Lisbon 2024

- WoW Gala Lisboa is set to become the highlight of NFC Lisbon’s social calendar after last year’s sold-out extravaganza.
- The team has taken a historic step in reaction to these issues by allowing non-WoW NFT holders to purchase tickets.
In the majestic halls of Palacio do Grilo, World of Women (WoW) welcomes you to attend “WoW Gala Lisboa: Feathers, Fizz & Freedom” at NFC Lisbon on June 5, 2025, an immersive celebration where technology and arts collide.
With the lively energy and passion of the new Roaring Twenties, WoW’s flagship Gala returns after introducing bioluminescence to Paris and galactic glamor to Miami. The stunning 18th-century palace, which is famed for its artistic significance and rebellious past, is the setting for WoW Gala Lisboa, which promises to transport guests to a vibrant world of wonder as they dance the night away in true 2020s fashion.
Taisia Antonova, WoW CEO stated:
“WoW Gala Lisboa isn’t just another crypto gathering—it’s a complete experience that unfolds as you move through the palace’s ornate chambers.”
Visitors will navigate the palace’s opulent hallways and private chambers, where cutting-edge digital displays blend seamlessly with the baroque magnificence that dates back centuries. Brazilian phenomenon Venga Venga will be featured on the evening’s soundscape. The innovative DJ sets go beyond music to create multisensory experiences that combine poetry, performance art, and visual stimulation, resulting in moments of collective euphoria that are hard to believe.
Renowned DJ P.H.I.L.O.U. maintains the throbbing intensity with her intoxicating performances that have dominated some of the most prominent venues in electronic music, such as Extrema and Tomorrowland Winter, where she has commanded The Gardens of Babylon and shared the stage with veterans like Paul Kalkbrenner. With additional artists and a headliner to be revealed as June draws near, the evening’s aural tapestry will be further enhanced by local artist Anya, artist and WoW holder NOANNE, and the elegant tones of a live jazz ensemble.
Jordan Zucchiatti, WoW Artistic Director stated:
“We’re reimagining what creative freedom meant in the 1920s for today’s digital pioneers, creating a space where women can forge new connections and pathways in Web3.”
WoW Gala Lisboa is set to become the highlight of NFC Lisbon’s social calendar after last year’s sold-out extravaganza, which attracted prominent figures like entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, sports analyst Ros Gold-Onwude, tastemaker Guy Oscar, investor Eunice Wong, and co-founder of The Sandbox Sebastien Borget.
The event comes as troubling new statistics from Gemini’s 2024 State of Crypto report shows that the percentage of women who own cryptocurrency has dropped from 42% in 2022 to only 31% currently.
Similarly, despite women launching twice as many new firms as males between 2019 and 2023, fresh research indicates that companies formed entirely by women only obtain 2% of venture capital funds.
WoW Gala Lisboa has taken a historic step in reaction to these issues by allowing non-WoW NFT holders to purchase tickets. WoW is now building a bridge for these fans to have a firsthand look into Web3 culture with this premier event, after a year of deliberately changing its social media presence to emphasize more general women’s problems and draw in Web2 audiences.

The WoW Gala Lisboa comes at a critical juncture in the development of World of Women. Building on Etherlink, a Layer 2 blockchain that is compatible with EVMs and powered by Tezos Smart Rollups technology, WoW announced its planned transition to the Tezos ecosystem in June 2024. With projects like its recent Sara Baumann portrait series honoring women builders, which has deployed over $3 million to nonprofits and provided support for more than 500 artists, the organization is still paving the way for women in Web3 to succeed. WoW’s dedication to reshaping the digital landscape goes well beyond its well-known NFT collections.
Built in 1750 and home to the contentious Duke of Lafões, Palacio do Grilo has long stood for artistic patronage and freedom of speech. A suitable setting for WoW’s aim to transform the digital landscape, the palace once hosted a private theater and functioned as a meeting spot for artists and thinkers who defied convention.
By giving them access to top-notch networking opportunities, life-changing experiences, and capital development, World of Women (WoW) empowers women to influence the decentralized future. The renowned digital art collections World of Women and World of Women Galaxy are credited to the renowned brand. Through networking possibilities, live events, immersive education, and the promotion of digital identity development in web3 and beyond, its vast ecosystem links its community members worldwide.
With the help of its numerous celebrity collectors (Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Longoria, Huda Kattan, Moj Mahdara, Brie Larson, and Sofia Vergara), as well as brand partnerships with Billboard Magazine, Hasbro, Jazwares, and House of Harlow, World of Women has gained both mainstream success and art world credibility. Guy Oseary, whose portfolio includes the Bored Ape Yacht Club, U2, and Madonna, represents WoW.
